What is Dip Flu and how to prevent it?Updated a year ago

A: Dip flu is the colloquial name given to a set of flu-like symptoms that some people experience when they are sensitive to dip powder, essential liquids, or sometimes both. The symptoms can be sneezing, stuffy nose or watery eyes. Even if the number of people that negatively responds to dip nails may be smaller than those unaffected by the dip flu, we advise you to monitor yourself after doing your nails. There are different precautions that you can take to limit exposure to dip powder formulas:

  • Work in an open and well-ventilated room with free circulation of air.
  • Wear a face mask to avoid inhaling the scent can be prevented by wearing a face mask. 
  • Wearing glasses or protective goggles can shield your eyes from nail debris and fumes.
