How to prepare the nails before the application?Updated a year ago

A: We recommend starting the application with clean and dry nails. Avoid exposure to water for at least one hour before doing your nails. Absorbed water can cause the nail plate to expand and change shape. Next, trim and shape the ends of your nails using the 240-grit (smoother) side of the Pro File. Push back the nail fold and pay attention to the clear invisible cuticle left on your nail surface. Use the other side of the cuticle pusher to gently scrape any excess cuticle. Any hangnails or non-living tissue can be removed using our Cuticle Nipper. If you had a problem with lifting in the past we recommend very gently buffing the surface of the nails to remove the natural shine and give them a matte look. Next, wipe the nails with Isopropyl alcohol or Pro Soak Acetone Remover to remove any natural oils and filing dust.
